Visit the famous Tsongmo Lake, a sacred glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains, and explore the city's vibrant markets and monasteries.Cross the border into Bhutan and arrive in Phuentsholing, the gateway to the kingdom of Bhutan. Proceed to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital, where you'll explore the city's cultural landmarks, including the Tashichho Dzong and the National Memorial Chorten.Finally, visit Paro, home to the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), perched on a cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley. Day 1

Indulge in the enchanting allure of India's rich traditions with a floral greeting, setting the stage for the extraordinary holiday experience that lies ahead. You are welcomed by our representative who ensures smooth transportation and check-in at the hotel. After a short stay at the hotel, the journey takes you to Old Delhi, founded as Shahjahanabad, the capital of the Mughal dynasty. You will visit Jama Masjid, also known as the Friday Mosque, Chandni Chowk, also known as "Silver Street," pass by The Red Fort (closed on Mondays) –Afternoon the journey continues to New Delhi, where we begin with a tour past Raisina Hill, Viceroy's House (Rashtrapati Bhavan – the residence of the Indian President), Parliament House, and India Gate – the famous war memorial followed by visit to Qutab Minar. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to catch a flight to Bagdogra. Upon arrival in Bagdogra, you will be picked up and driven to Darjeeling. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3

At dawn, you will embark on a tour of Darjeeling, visiting Tiger Hill and Ghoom Monastery – the holiest monastery in Darjeeling. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later in the day, enjoy a train ride on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, and explore the Himalayan Zoological Park Zoo, featuring endangered Himalayan wolves and red pandas as the main attractions. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you will be driven from Darjeeling to Gangtok. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival. The afternoon is at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, visit Rumtek Monastery – the seat of Karmapa. You will also visit Enchey Monastery and Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays). Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Tsongmo Lake, also known as Changu Lake. Tsongmo Lake is a glacial lake in East Sikkim, located 5 kilometers away from the Chinese border in a straight line but about 18 kilometers by road. A permit is required to visit this place as it falls within a restricted area. The lake, approximately 1 kilometer long, oval in shape, and 15 meters deep, is considered sacred by the locals. It is also home to Brahminy ducks. The lake's cold and tranquil water harmonizes with the natural beauty of its surroundings. A small temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is constructed on the lake. Return to the hotel after the tour. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, continue the journey by road to Phuentsholing in Bhutan. Phuentsholing is a border town in southern Bhutan, a thriving trade center on the northern edge of the Indian plains and situated at the foothills of the Himalayas. Phuentsholing is a fascinating blend of India and Bhutan – a perfect example of the fusion of people from different countries and their cultures. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival. In the evening, visit Zangtho Pelri Lhakhang if time allows. The temple represents the abode of Guru Rinpoche. Take a stroll around the town and the local market. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, drive to Thimphu – the modern capital of Bhutan located at an altitude of 2400 meters. On the way from Phuentsholing to Thimphu, stop to visit Kharbandi Gompa. This beautiful monastery was built by the Royal Grandmother. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival in Thimphu. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, visit Trashichhodzong – the fortress of the glorious religion, Memorial Chorten built in memory of Bhutan's third king, National Library of Bhutan, Choki Traditional Art School, National Institute of Traditional Medicine, National Textile Museum, National Folk Heritage Museum, and Handicrafts Emporium. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, proceed to Paro, a 2-hour drive away. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival. Later, embark on a hike to Paro Taktsang, better known as Tiger’s Nest. You can also ride a pony (payment directly to the provider) halfway to the most iconic Buddhist temple in the entire Himalayas. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11

Breakfast at the hotel. The entire day is at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 12

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Airport to board homebound flight and if time permits visit local markets, or indulge in some souvenir shopping. You can also use this time to prepare for your return flight, packing your belongings and bidding farewell to the beautiful country of Bhutan.
